Ash Brooks [Ash & Herb, Starbirthed] offers a trancefixing collection of home recordings on this, her solo debut. Boldly free improvisations for voice and autoharp flow through a warp zone of time, space, and reality as Ash narrates & soundtracks an astral encounter with the Woodland Queen and her high court. Ash's vision of a parallel universe folk music fully outside of both past & present genre convention arrives realized from the first hallucinatory harp whisp until the final tone fades deep into the forest path. Her voice has begun to be heard.
