10th anniversary reissue of the instantly out-of-print Herbcraft tape, available digitally for the first time! Flowering was originally released as the first catalog entry for short-lived UK label Julia Dream Recordings, and formed a bridge between the heavy-psych mystical abstractions of Ashram to the Stars and the dreamier, groovier sonics of the full-band barnstorming Astral Body Electric. The final solo, overdub-heavy, bedroom-recorded Herbcraft release, Flowering demonstrates the peak of this hermetic DIY approach with thick guitar fuzz, echoed-to-oblivion vocals, analog tape fx trickery, and a generous smear of neverending digital reverb trails. Laid-back instrumental space jam "Journey to the Center of Your Hive", reverent Japanese psych homage "Psychic Spore Travellin", and motorik leather-jacketed trip "Magic Carpet Ride Hallucination No.4" have long been fan favorites, and as Flowering has always been a personal favorite of mine in the Herbcraft discography, I'm most pleased to revive this tape 10 years nigh.

Digital download includes bonus track "Orange", recorded at the same time as the tracks on Flowering but never before released.
