Starbirthed bid farewell to their longtime home, studio, and workspace with a final live-streamed recording session on March 26, 2020. Green Lodge was the birthplace of both Starbirthed and Flower Room, and as such a uniquely funereal ambiance is draped over the proceedings: a grieving for what's been lost transformed to gratitude, hope, and trust, processed in real time. Unlike any previous Starbirthed release (a term more appropriate here than ever before), a focus on voice, electric guitar, and percussion predominates along with the familiar music box synth melodies and live looping, tying together threads from a half dozen projects and nearly 50 full albums recorded in that farmhouse in Maine over the past five years.

We are pleased to present three edits from the final Green Lodge celebration here as a free / name-your-price download, in hopes that it may help lift your spirits whenever grief is present.
